One of the unique things about Cottonwood Springs is its approach to a dump station. Because it's a new park designed primarily for transient and long term stays, they’ve integrated the essential services right into every single site. There isn't a separate, communal dump lane. Instead, every back in pad has its own sewer riser, along with water and 50 amp electric hookups. This means if you’re stopping just to dump your tanks, the process is a bit different. You'll need to check in with management, and they will typically guide you to a vacant site. You pull in, handle your business right there at the pad's private hookup, and then pull out. They often have a separate exit gate to make the departure smooth and easy, even for larger rigs. This provides a level of privacy you just don't get at a public dump station.
The park's surface is all wide, packed gravel, which is a smart choice for the Arizona climate. It means no mud or mess, even after one of the region's dramatic monsoon storms.
